chandelier options for entry way

Hi,

We are looking for a chandelier for our entry room (around 36 inches in diameter) that looks exactly like this https://cdn5.1800lighting.com/jqzoom/elegant%20lighting/2015g36c.jpg BUT is all glass/crystal.

This chandelier only comes in chrome, bronze and gold finish.

Did you search on that site? They have hundreds and you can filter your search by size and price.

Yes and unfortunately, they only offer these three finishes .

I would put a low bench under the window, something with a bit of elegance to match the scale of the space, but you can put a boot mat underneath if desired. Then either (a) a narrower chest next to the door, with a spot for keys or a drawer for mittens, and a lamp on top, or (b) just an umbrella stand by the door for guests and then focus on a nice round table by the stairs with a lamp and other decor focused there. Also, your option 1 is a disaster, because it's basically booby-trapping a walkway/doorway. I don't care where it goes!

OK that helps. Bringing in the black will really help your overall look. Black helps "ground" a space. Here is a look that might be interesting and different for your high volume entry space. The glass globes hang from a center plate and you can design whatever look you want because each glass globe hangs independently. Believe it or not, it is pretty inexpensive as fixtures go for large, high ceiling spaces. This is a large home I did a couple years ago and with this turning staircase and a long window that faced outside, we wanted a "statement". This did it and didn't break the bank. You can get different numbers of glass balls as well. A good lighting store could help you do something like this.

Are we talking about the "entry" right at the front door? Or the space up on the step up area toward the stairs. Basically, though, it's the base of the table that will somewhat define the style. The more rustic, it becomes more "Mountain lodge" and the more refined it can go modern, contemporary or even more "transitional". They are also pretty expensive so before you invest money there, figure out how much you want to or can spend now, and then start selecting things you like and create an "Ideabook" here on Houzz. That will help you "define" which style direction you like. You can "like" a number of styles, but ultimately one will become more apparent than others.

According to their filter, I see 222 clear and crystal chandeliers on their site. (I'm on a desktop. Perhaps if you're viewing the site on a phone, you don't see the search option?)

yes and thank you. There are many that are clear and crystal however not in the style I am looking for which is this one https://cdn5.1800lighting.com/jqzoom/elegant%20lighting/2015g36c.jpg

I am wondering if adding more crystals would cover up the chrome finish to this one?

I don't know how it looks in person but in the picture, the chrome is not that noticeable. It doesn't seem available though.
