Leaves falling off :(
Comments (9)Those leaves looks really water logged; any succulent needs to be in well draining mix, and receive as much light as possible. If the roots and/or stem is rotted, rot will spread up the stalk very fast. It would help if you get it out of the wet soil, get all of it off the roots and see if there are any, and what condition they are in. The stem looks still green, but also check to make sure it is not soft/mushy. Pls. indicate your general location to get better answers...(it would be best to post it next to your name)....See MoreAre your Jades/succulents getting those fall colors yet? Pics please)
Comments (141)I got an email notification about this thread. I had forgot all about it. It’s nice seeing the colorful plants this time of year My plants never colored up since we when from warm days to freezing temps. Maybe next year. I do want to thank Mike for sending me the cuttings! They are amazing and truly appreciated. They’re all cramed into my only decent southern window. Sorry for the poor picture...See MoreSucculent leaves are falling off!
Comments (8)There was a discussion on that same topic some time ago. It happens!!! I had the same problem too, all leaves fell off all of a sudden, they all look good, firm, no dry, no rot. None were able to reroot. The stem and roots looked fine as well. Some tiny bug, fungus or other challenging to detect microbes??? I have another one as well as a black knight going strong under the same conditions. The one that's now gone was growing next to them... The same also happened to Pachysedum Ganhzou, twice, 2 years in a row, both times after a few cold winter days... in San Jose!!! Not sure why but anyhow, the latter is now planta non grata in my backyard!...See MoreMatt z5b - Greenhouse 10a
