Help! Need to share office w/DH & 4-yr old! Long...
Comments (1)can you go "paperless" with your files for your home business? if you were to share the files on your computers, via a home network, it would eliminate the need for you to run back and forth between offices. you mention an office in the garage...is this a real office? complete with walls, rug and air conditioning..or is your DH sandwiched between the cars and the lawn equipment..lol. if it's a real office, then i would leave it as it is, i konw if my husband had an office in the home, work would take him 10 times as long and he'd be 100 times more stressed and frustrated!...See MoreLooking for ideas to update exterior of 40 year old house
Comments (14)Littlebug, thank you for that feedback. We had considered tearing out the brick planter when we pull out the old cedars, so your comment is validating. What a great idea to eliminate the middle post of the pergola. Perhaps a more substantial corner post would work better. I agree that the paint color of the pergola is not right do we will address that....See MoreHelp! Need ideas on updating 16 year old tract home exterior!
Comments (5)The house is great just as it is. As others have said, what it needs is a good landscape plan. Add a curved planting area from the corner of the walkway to the end of the house. And plant a specimen tree further out into the yard. You'll be adding value to your home as well as making it look more interesting and welcoming. Be sure to keep the plants from blocking your low windows....See MoreCommercial office building exterior entrance remodel ideas help!
Comments (2)I would not put up an awning, it's dark enough. if you need shade, a colorful sun sail? or pergola slats? is that a parking spot right outside the door? I would build out that whole area and make a courtyard. with built in seating and planters, plant some evergreens, soften the appearance. Brighten up the entry walls, the door, and beef up the two posts. Is it a business open to walkins? Maybe some good signage?...See MoreHou 2009
