Hi everyone, I am new to this forum... it's so nice to see I am not the only plum crazy one! Soo what is this gritty mix that you are talking about? I have never been able to root a cutting that has been brought back from Hawaii, HOWEVER this year I received three cuttings from a friend, I pulled everything off except for the claws and they all 3 have grown back. One even had an inflow when it was cut and it continued a couple months later! I am so proud of myself!! LOL!! I just planted two cuttings yesterday that were just brought back to me from Hawaii, i am nervous and impatient and it's only day two! Ugh!!

Thank you for asking, kat. :) About 2 weeks ago he got a letter from social services denying him medicaid. He was instructed by ????? (can't remember the organization lol) to apply for medicaid as they are equipped only to help rehabilitate and find jobs for (people that have already gotten help) lol.. it's been a long day. In short, he has not found any help yet but he has been having a few good weeks and I'm hoping he doesn't do anything to aggravate his back for awhile. He also lost out on 2 positions with pepsi that he had applied for and a position with some cable company. I told him to just keep persevering and eventually something good will happen. We had rain for 4 days and he hasn't worked at all this week. At this rate, his back should not be giving him any trouble! :)
