Help! Our couch took over our living room!
Comments (45)Have you had the sectional too long for the store to maybe let you swap it out for something else? This type sectional with the built-in cup holders, etc. are likely hard to make work in most rooms. We’ve had a sectional that we’ve LOVED (just regular sofa looking thing in some sort of microfiber) for the past eight years of raising our kids and we’ve loved the fact that we could all pile onto it with their various toys. But we’ve had it in big rooms that could accommodate a huge piece of furniture. If you don’t think that you could swap this out, I absolutely think that you can improve the feel of the room by following the suggestions above. Good luck and report back!...See Morewould this area rug match my couch/living room?
Comments (22)The last rug was found on RugsUSA.com, though it's not proprietary and lots of websites have it. It's part of a collection of similar rugs that are all very inexpensive but have minor variations on a theme of Tribal Rug Pattern. Good Luck. https://www.rugsusa.com/rugsusa/control/search-rugs?color_grp=Oranges https://www.rugsusa.com/rugsusa/rugs/rugs-usa-tribal-medallion/Rust/200KHMC04A-P.html https://www.rugsusa.com/rugsusa/rugs/rugs-usa-dynast/Rust/200DISA05A-P.html https://www.rugsusa.com/rugsusa/rugs/rugs-usa-olden-tribal-medallion-fringe/Rust/200KHMC07A-P.html https://www.rugsusa.com/rugsusa/rugs/rugs-usa-sabine-fringe/Rust/200MBPR04A-P.html https://www.rugsusa.com/rugsusa/rugs/rughttps://www.rugsusa.com/rugsusa/rugs/rugs-usa-tribal-emblematic-tokens/Rust/200STCV14A-P.html https://www.rugsusa.com/rugsusa/rugs/rugs-usa-timeworn-charm/Rust/200KHMC34A-P.html https://www.rugsusa.com/rugsusa/rugs/rugs-usa-tribal-emblematic-tokens/Rust/200STCV14A-P.html https://www.rugsusa.com/rugsusa/rugs/rugs-usa-tribal-medallion/Rust/200STCV06A-P.html https://www.rugsusa.com/rugsusa/rugs/rugs-usa-printed-floral-flatweave/Rust/200MKCL11A-P.html https://www.rugsusa.com/rugsusa/rugs/rugs-usa-faded-tribal/Rust/200KHMC32A-P.html...See MoreIs my living room rug too big or is my couch too wide?
Comments (9)Yep next project is to address that to the best I can. Partner wants a big tv but they are an eyesore in general but I need to compromise on it :). I plan to get rid of the stand and paint the builts in white so will hopefully minimize the overall look. Would love to redo the whole wall, change out to the fireplace for a lower and wider electic fireplace and mount the tv directly above but that sounds expensive. Maybe in the future!...See MoreLiving Room Area Rug Suggestions
Comments (5)Hi … what is your budget and the size you need? Are there other rugs nearby? Curtains? Do you have a rug material preference?
