Comments (51)RoseTx, I'll have you some loofa (complete with the sponge) and also the cypress vine plants., I'd love to try your yellow bulbine and the yellow iris too if they are still available. I love yellow blooms! I'll be at the park early. I also have to leave early and won't be able to stay for lunch (I'm sure I'll regret this!!!). We've a prior commitment for a 'b'day party at 3:00 in the afternoon. I must get home for rest, shower & change before on to the party. See you Saturday. Sheila :)...See MoreYuzu and satsuma mandarin coming tomorrow. Am I all set?
Comments (5)As far as I know, you should be just fine using their brands of perlite and moss. It just the potting soil that can be tough on plants unless you give it the right care, which I have never figured out so I like the fast draining mix's. Good luck with your new trees! I've been tempted to order more now but I would have to increase my light set up and I don't have the time/money for that at the moment....See MoreDoes anyone know what China Satsuma mandarin is? SKSCZO?
Comments (10)Thanks all. Seedless Kishu does make sense. I trust the propagator tag buried in the soil more than the price/sticker label. And I researched afterward on seedless Kishu, and its description and pictures match my tree. Thank God for propagator tags. If only other companies would do the same....ahem...4WG... I'm a sucker for great form/structure, and am very happy, as I don't have a Kishu yet. It was on my list. This seedless Kishu tree should be a hit for the nieces when they visit. Once they commented on HOW CUTE LOOKING those little oranges are ON my variegated calamondin tree. Maybe I should have let them pick some and put them in their mouth. LOL....See MoreWhat could cause my satsuma mandarin to bloom for the second time?
Comments (7)I hope they are. They are also exploding with new growth every where. It’s too the point I want to pinch some back to avoid having a massive tree that I won’t even be able to move anymore. It’s also it’s second growth flush this year as well. My Yuzu is doing the same thing. Too much growth every where. I am seeing some flowers in it as well which will be it’s first year of flowering :). Also 2 years ago I cut back all the stems on the main trunk because they dropped all foliage and died but now it’s growing back again. Would it be ok to pinch them off? I would like a bare trunk and a nice canopy just like a regular tree. I don’t want a shrub like look. First pic showing my mandarin growth. Second pic showing my Yuzu growing on its main trunk....See Morejinnylea
