Kitchen table fixture to coordinate with island pendants(??)

We're doing a kitchen update- refacing the cabs white with blue/green grey island, quartz marble look counters, farmhouse sink, wood floors. Our round pedestal kitchen table (walnut on white base) is in close proximity to our smallish island. I have white ladderback chairs. I guess you can say my taste is modern farmhouse. I'm finding many pendant island lights I like (although leery of using clear glass), but am stuck on a coordinating above table light. I'm not crazy about matching fixtures. A lighting associate suggested a couple from quoizel (pics following the pendants I like. Thoughts or other suggestions?

I think it should compliment your island lights but not match. I would go with something completely opposite. I would do a beaded one.

I think these beaded ones could work with your first pendent. For the second pendent I would do a lantern style.

smallish island...close to table? I am not getting a feel for anything happening style wise with these combinations. I might skip a pendant if it is a small island. Focus on the table then......with canned lights on dimmers above island....do you have some nice detail on the island ? you can dim the cans in the evening for atmosphere. the one table fixture is especially colonial..the other especially Italian. The pendants seem "schoolhouse" vibe. I don't know how you would blend from these selections. I would focus on table area: you may find it easier to find the right selection, without worrying about island area....then go back and see if something crops up by chance for the island, when you look from a different perspective. [it probably will pop out]

It is a challenge because the pendants are such an impactful element side by side and in such close proximity to your breakfast table you need to find something that doesn't compete with what you already have. The fixture is a style that works with whatever your style is it is the bulb that is my issue and IMO if you are making an accessible space good overall lighting is a must and so are extra wide walkways around the kitchen. Please no 48” range and for sure no por filler the venting for the range will cost huge $$$$ and honestly unless you cook for 20 everyday aw aste of money I run a catering biz with a 36” range Pot filler biggest waste of money you will still need to carry a pot of hot water to the sink might just as well carry it twice . I have clients who wanted this so bad and a year later the damn thing leaked and caused a ton of money to repair. In your case the island should have been lower on the seating side to allow a wheelchair to sit there

I highly recommend the glass pendants- they looks amazing in every kitchen! For your table light- the big question is, do you like the industrial side of modern farmhouse or a more elegant interpretation. I personally love what pink peony posted above but lighting is very personal. Some of my clients purchase their top 2 choices & we review in the space to make the final call.

I just can’t see any of those beaded chandeliers above my table. Yes, I do like a bit of an industrial look and really like the silver wagon wheel design Pink Peony posted. I like glass pendants too but my husband is afraid of the light being too harsh while prepping food on our island top- and I’m worried about keeping it clean!

I have 3 of those exact glass pendants over my island! I think the last one you just posted would look nice with the glass one. I also like the last 2 pink peony posted.

that could work ...I'm seeing a simplified version of your second island pendant shown above:[frosted glass piece] as an accompanying selection for island. Just try for an island selection [like that one] but without all the metal at the juncture of the globe and stem. In other words...the same shape...similar frosted glass....streamline the configuration. The clear pendant has too much going on with detailed outline. If you want clear just try without such a complex shape/curves. For "over the table" I prefer this last piece compared to the other ones.

If your space isn’t large that will be really big for it. Mind the measurements! I looked at that for my master bathroom which is quite large with over 10’ ceilings and determined it would be too tall for that space. The fixture does come in a smaller size but it changes the look of it slightly.

You’re right......I realized after I posted that I’d have to do the 4 light one. That one however is only 18” wide- my round table is only 42”, but the fixture might still look a tad dinky.
