The Myers dish deterg is overpriced, but I dilute it w water. Almost all soaps are too concentrated imho.

In re helicopters, it was only the last one, in Hawaii, that made me sick. I get motion sickness in all sorts of situations where you aren't "supposed" to so I am apparently a very special snowflake. : )

Since Helis just go straight up and down, like magic, they are awfully smooth. I think my issue in Hawaii (site seeing on the BI) was a lot of banking and other movement over volcanoes, down into valleys, etc. I can turn a little green just remembering it.

I dilute my dish soap too- the Meyer's verbena scent is great also, Eld. Most liquid soap, like shampoo, improves with dilution. It makes it much easier to rinse off, which is much better IMO.

ETA: oh I forgot...I actually went to a concert of one singer I really love, and after the concert, I asked her to autograph her CD..in a very clumsy manner. (it was a long line of folks like me) When it was my turn,I started with "I'm sorry to bother you..You must be very tired right now.."(she did look like she was exausted) In short I sounded like an idiot.

When you're friends with someone brilliant and acclaimed for that..at certain point you start perceiving them like a person, you know? They're more than their huge talent etc. So less chances for you to behave like idiot ..

I can't recall meeting anyone, but on my frequent trips to Santa Barbara and Montecito, I've had some crossed paths over the years. I wouldn't have known, but for the awareness of my friends there: Ate sushi next to Rob Lowe (many years ago, my first sushi experience). I didn't realize who he was (West Wing years) but when my friend quietly made me aware, I realized he was just as beautiful as on TV. Had breakfast next to Harrison Ford (who I did recognize). Stood in line at a store behind Kenny Loggins (had no idea, but my friend again filled me in). Sat on a plane next to a young man the flight attendants were going gaga over, getting autographs, etc. I had no idea who he was, but his name was Shaun or Sean and was in a famous boy band (this was probably 20 years ago). My son figured it out, now I can't recall. (I just looked it up...Boyz to Men). Maybe not a big celebrity, but I did meet Roy Yamaguchi once at Pebble Beach and was treated to dinner at his restaurant there.
