Caring for Boysenberry vines

Christie

We’re lucky enough to have moved into a house with a big archway and two beds of long established boysenberrt vines - the previous owners believe they’re 50+ years old since they moved during the 1970s and they were already there.

the vines were pruned right back while the house was for sale and as they’ve started to grow back I’m training them up over the archway but beyond that im not too sure how to best look after them and get the best crop we can...

does anyone have any experience or advice for boysenberries? I’ve tried searching on the internet and while it’s easy to find information about other berries but not too much on these...

appreciate your help!
