Hi,

We are getting white kitchen cabinets installed soon and I'd love any advice on what to do with the rest of the house or at least the 2 dark wood sliders off the kitchen. Goal is to blend some white - same color as cabinets into the slider & window trim and/or baseboard. My husband who recently stained and installed nice looking baseboard (Knotty Elder) hesitantly agreed that he would replace the baseboard with white.

Here are some options I am considering - Please see existing pics: Option 1 - Replace Baseboard with white and paint slider door trim and window trim white. Option 2 - Keep baseboard as is and paint entire inside sliders and window including panels white. Option 3 - Keep baseboard and just paint window and slider trim white. Option 4 - replace all of the trim with same wood and stain as the baseboard and either leave the slider panels as is or paint them white. I really appreciate any advice anyone can share.
