Just a thought, if this is your first screened porch. We love our screen porch, which we had added to our house eight years ago. However, I was surprised that it gets very dirty. We live in northern Virginia, so lots of rain, cold winters but not much snow. Our old deck was washed clean by the rain, but the dust or dirt that blows onto our screen porch and its furniture just stays dirty until I clean it. Your plans sound lovely but think about the rug and the dining tables to be sure they are temperature and moisture resistant.

As far as how much space to allow, the column "Ask the Builder," by Tim Carter suggests this:

"The first thing you need to consider is the size of the screened porch. One really effective way to create the floor plan is to buy the furniture you intend to use on the porch before you build the structure. Set the furniture up in your yard spacing it exactly as you intend to place it on the finished screened porch. Be sure you have the spacing correct so people can walk freely around the chairs, tables and any decorative items you may have.

Use string to create the outline of the porch so you can see the shape and get fairly accurate measurements. My guess is that you will discover that you need a screened porch that measures at least 15 feet by 15 feet to seat at least eight or more people comfortably."

You'll want to be sure the chairs around the tables can be pulled out far enough for people to sit down, and that the opened French doors won't intrude upon the space needed for the seating.
