Have YOU found any deals or bargains lately? Hhhhmmmmmm............?
Comments (79)Me either, functionthenlook. The woman who sold it said she didn't use it because she is a "from scratch baker" and had no use for it. I took that to mean there may be a school of thought out there that bread made in a bread machine doesn't count as homemade. I like to bake things like pita bread, English muffins, pizza dough, dinner rolls and hamburger buns. Looking into the future, I see the machine as being a huge time saver when it comes to mixing, kneading and proofing the dough for me. My first loaf is rising and it's looking pretty good!...See MoreHave you found any bargains or deals lately? :0)
Comments (24)My online art course! I'm taking classes in watercolor painting from Domestika, a company in Spain. They offer a lot of courses in a variety of fields, mostly artistic, and I learned about them when many of their courses were on sale. I added a discount coupon I found online, so the total price of my course was under $10. I didn't want live classes, so this is perfect for me as I can work on it whenever I want. I'm impressed with the structure, the content, and the instructor. The only downside is that the course is in Spanish, and the poorly-translated English subtitles are often confusing. It's also a challenge to watch what the instructor is doing and read the subtitles at the same time. But that's what pause and rewind is for. I'm enjoying the course so much that I've already signed up for another one, also under $10. I have the feeling Domestika puts its courses on sale often--maybe all the time? I really don't know about that, but I can say there's nothing cheesy about them. Even the subtitles have been a positive because they sometimes make me laugh. In the age of Covid I appreciate all such opportunities!...See MoreHave YOU found any bargains or deals lately?
Comments (145)I meant to share this earlier- it's just a super handy dandy thingy that I found at the Dollar Tree ( so it is now $1.25) I keep my charging cables in here and can always find them easily. I keep it in my purse on a daily basis and when we traveled it was just so handy. All patterns and a few different shapes. Mine is about 2 1/2 or 3 inches square. and open- (it also has a net pocket inside. Gotta love it....See MoreHave YOU found any bargains or deals lately....?
Comments (55)I get it Funky. What I like about this one is that it is a stretched canvas, no glass, which keeps it simpler. It's going into a small upstairs bedroom that has the original 1910 stained wood beadboard, so I think a poster size print will bring a pop to the walls without needing anything else. We'll see!...See Morenicole___
