Comments (1)Measure your sofa length. A good width for artwork over a sofa is two/thirds the length of the sofa. Round up or down to the nearest standard size. Frame style is a personal preference. Comments (4)To maximize seating, leave the TV where it is but mount it on the wall a bit higher, and leave the couch where it is, but replace the chair with another couch against the railing to make an L shape. Definitely don’t put the tv over the mantle bc you’ll just get neck strain and there’s too much going on there. I’d put the couch in front of the building view window and the tv on the big wall. the one thing that might make me switch the tv to the corner and the couch on the wall would be if one of us stays up late watching tv and the other is in the bed in the adjacent bedroom.
