DeWils cabinets?
Comments (4)I heard good things about their cabinets from cloud_swift, too, as well as from at least two other GWers, whose names I can't recall at the moment. I don't think they are posting here any more, either. I'm sure their names will come to me later and when they do, I'll post them so you can search for their kitchens here or in the FKB. A friend who is an CMKBD in the San Francisco area used to spec them when she worked for a different design/build firm. She also told me they were a good product. They are what is called a semi-custom cabinet line but since they will work to 1/4" increments, they are very close to custom, IMO. Hubby and I visited one of their showrooms and liked what we saw. We were planning to use them for our remodeling, however our GC prefers to work with another local cabinet company that also does quality work so we went with that company instead. I haven't seen Diamond so I can't compare the two for you....See MoreDeWils vs. Hanssem cabinetry??

Plain & Fancy(8 weeks) Maybe out of my price range? 4900 Fieldstone 7-8 weeks STill waiting for two quotes and will do more searching tomorrow.. need to make a decision. Any feedback on quality or experience with lead times appreciated. dee...See MoreAre you happy with your Brookhaven or DeWils cabinets?
Comments (7)Our Brookhaven kitchen isn't finished yet but so far I love what I see. We chose a traditional look but did go frameless to maximize storage space. I had an initial discomfort with the cabinet face material that is only seen when the cabinets are opened. It is not an exact match for the color of my stained/glazed cherry wood. (Bookshelves and glass-fronted cabinet do exactly match though. Not sure if this is standard or because of the way my contractor placed the order.) I don't notice it anymore though. We did use the Brookhaven hardware. I don't think we chose the absolute highest priced stuff but I did learn that the hardware styles change regularly and some stuff gets discontinued. We got a couple of extra pieces our oil-rubbed bronze hardware and are using them on some built-in cabinets in our neighboring mudroom. jayne...See MoreDeWils and R.D. Henry
Comments (0)We are considering buying DeWils or R.D. Henry cabinets for a kitchen remodel. Does anyone have any experience with either of these cabinet makers that you are willing to share? If you have had them for a while, how is their durability. Thank you!...See Moremjzman77
