I any idea about this plant ?

The purple plant in the foreground is what is needed for identification. The marker was lost for this plant, but I think it could be a Liatris. Any information gladly appreciated. Picture will follow in comments. Thank you.

It's a really poor photo but compare to Liatris aspera, button liatris.

I do belive you are right on the money gardenerme! I looked it up and it is a variegated Society Garlic, Tulbaghia violacea 'Silver Lace'. I had never seen one before. Too bad it doesn't grow here. Thank you. CMK

I have both hibiscus and hollyhock plants (in the same family) and the leaves of thisplant does not look anything like those. However, if it turns out to be from that family, I will be happy.
