question on load bearing wall

Hi! Our house had an addition put on by previous owner where they extended out the back. This space now holds our kitchen and a den/misc space. At some stage we’d like to improve the layout as there is a lot of wasted space and it’s awkward for entertaining.
As you can see from the photos, the previous back wall of the house was load bearing so they put a beam in on the kitchen side but they left a wall (w doorway) on the den side. I’m wondering what this implies if we wanted to pull down that other side-would another support beam be required or would they have run it across the full wall when they did addition?
Clearly I know we need structural eng, architect etc if we actually embark on a project but I’m curious for the purpose of my own ideas and thinking about what’s feasible. Appreciate any thoughts!! Thanks!
