Help with Exterior Solid Stain Color for Mountain Home

Our new home is the only light gray-blue house on the block...and in the neighborhood and it needs some major change in mood.

We recently bought a vacation home in the Tahoe region and need some help updating the exterior color to go from out of place beach to rustic, fun mountain cabin. We have been looking at Sherwin Williams Woodscapes line of solid stain colors and were leaning towards Greenbriar or Shade Tree for the body and trim but are wondering if it might be too dark or green. We want earthy colors to match the surrounding but not to fade. The house is board and batten.

The plan is to make the house more monotone to eliminate the striping and to contract in the timbers in the front of the home and possibly the garage door. The windows are white (one day we may go to a bronze) and I am open to fun pop of color for the door like a red-orange. Any suggestions or advice for this type of home or with a solid stain brand. Our painter suggested Olympic or Flood brands and thought the Woodscape would be OK as well.
