Gorgeous home! I love plantation shutters but looking at the rest of your house believe your style is a little more modern/contemporary. I like the idea of cellular shades and possibly curtains, depending on the style.

I do have her blog saved! I need to bump hers closer to the top of my list. I like the mix of fabrics she uses. I have a valance made out of that floral fabric on the couch (red pillow) but in the blue colorway. I think it's Raymond Waites if I remember right. Puuurdy.

I did consider a white at one point. I like that idea better with the navy ribbon. Do you mean a boarder, a few inches in, the whole way around? Width of trim? Any idea what material I should use? Something like this? These are both only 72" though and I'd like a 78". Would you still use the green/blue fabric as a window treatment in there? Dug out some pictures. Here's an old picture. Here's a more recent shot so you can see the bedroom better. I've eliminated some pillows. I do plan to use the tartan euros, houndstooth plaid shams and bedskirt, and red coverlet around Christmas. Yikes, the bathroom isn't photographing well at all. It's BM Moroccan Red. White blind will also go. Should corner shelf leave? I've always liked it but recently have been thinking it's time for a new home.
