I started to put up some Christmas decorations today after takeing my fall to the shed. I was hoping to decorate outside but it was COLD. My feet are killing me after all the shopping. We went out Thurs. night and didn't get home till 3am Fri morning. Back up at 8:30 and didn't get home till 5:30pm. We all found a few good buys and got most of our Christmas shopping done. I've never seen such long lines to check out in my life. Saving money doesn't mean enough for me to wait in line for 2 hours. That's also why I'm here sitting at the computer!LOL Hope to see all your friends decorations when you have time. I'll try to get my battery charged so I can share some here. Hello all, My wife and I ordered a Maytag Ice2O FD fridge a month or so ago (for a very good price), but were never really thrilled with how the fridge looked - don't like the appearance of the ice/water dispenser. What we did like was the freezer drawers. We loved that the drawers are not wire baskets, and that they both come out when the freezer is opened. After hearing of many problems with the circuit boards on the Ice2O, we diceided to look into other brands. As our other appliances will be mostly GE, we were looking at some GE FD fridges. The PFSS6PKWSS seemed to be the best of the bunch, including the new models with 2 separate freezer drawers. We noticed that on some of the fridges, the deli drawer smacks right into the french doors if the doors are not completely open (which we will not be able to do due to a wall on one side of the fridge). The PFSS6PKWSS has a deli drawer that opens up with the french doors open 90 degrees, but my wife was upset that the shelves did not pull forward like on the Ice2O. We knew that Samsung makes the PFSS6PKWSS for GE, and found the Samsung RF267AARS at a Best Buy to look at. We verified that the interiors are exactly the same, except for clear plastic bins on the french doors (they are white on the GE). After pretty much deciding to stick with the Ice2O because of the pull-out shelves, we happened to tug on one of the Samsung fridge shelves and voila! It slid forward, a few inches farther than the Ice2O shelves even! I think we have decided to go ahead and cancel our Ice2O order, and go with the Samsung RF267AARS. So, you Samsung owners out there, how have the fridges been working, how quiet are they, and do you had any complaints about them? Thanks for any replies.

mihai914, I have actually not been to the unboxed location but have been to MTC in Whitby (see link). They also carry Miele out of box and B grade goods. For some reason, MTC usually has more stock of the full size machines - they get them more often than the unboxed store and usually have the higher end ones (ie. 4842). They are shipped to MTC direct from the Miele warehouse. They currently have the following available: LAUNDRY W1213 WHT 6KG W1215 SS 6KG T1313 5kg W1612 5.5Kg W4842 Full Size T9800 Full Size T9820 Full Size The few times I have seen units they are either perfect (just no box) or they have had very minor imperfections. One pedestal had a small ding in the front, machines have some scratches - nothing major. The current W4842 has a small knick on the top edge so is 40% off retail ($1,529). If you call MTC they will give you pricing over the phone and tell you what is wrong with the unit. I get "hurt" by the gas dryer. I have to have a qualified gas fitter do the install. If I was buying electric, I could buy the discounted one and plug it in ... tempting ... although neither my husband or I are very handy and would end up having Miele install anyway so not sure you save that much (plus no 10 year warranty). The Brick has the Bosch Vision 500 on for $600 off. The Brick told me they'd give me $600 of the 800 as well. Sears said they would match that price and give me an additional 10% ($60) back. That makes the Bosch much more reasonable. Based on how they look, I don't think I could pay full retail for those machines. Maybe it's hidden in the mechanics but I just don't see how they look/feel like a premium brand. I am far more impressed with the LGs (just based on looks/feel alone). I don't know if I'd be happy with the Bosch long term (if it bugs me already). I feel more "happy" when I see the LGs. julieda14 No I am not happy with the machine. I have had it for 6 months now and finally the company has agreed to exchange it. I will definately cause a big debate here but here goes....it just does not have enough water to clean properly. There is not enough rollover of clothing. I have the one with the glass lid . I have watched that a large load of clothes only fills with about 5 inches of water. The clothes on the top of the pile spend about 10% of the enitre wash cycle under water and getting cleaned. The clothes on the bottom come out clean. You may have watched a video of this machine and it's great rollover on You Tube but the cycle is on Sheets/Towels. This cycle fills the drum 3/4 full of water. I could essentially put it on this cycle all the time but I figured a $1000.00 washer should operate to my satisfaction on all cycles. I am trading in for a Cabrio with agitator. You can manually set the water level or let machine do it on Auto. The reason I stayed with the Cabrio is because I bought the matching dryer.....otherwise I would have picked something totally different.
