We are looking for an undermount sink for a 33-inch sink base with clipped fluted corners. The cabinets are still in boxes (inspected once, but now all closed back up). I know the cabinet has a couple framing pieces on the top (see the link for a drawing...At the bottom of page 1, SBFCC). So, how much width does that leave me for a sink? Can these framing pieces ever be trimmed to make room for a wider sink? What would that do to the warranty...Or should I not worry about that? We also want to make sure we don't get a sink that is too wide to pull forward in the cabinet (into the angled clipped corner section as intended). We really don't want more than 3 inches of countertop between us and the sink. Will I need to forget about the sink tilt-out we already paid for? If need be, I think I am willing to do that to avoid a back-aching reach into the sink, but I would really like to keep the tilt-out if possible. Any guidance on this topic would be greatly appreciated! Once I get a better idea of what size sink I can use, I start shopping more seriously for sinks. Thanks! livvibabiexo, We used Kraftmaid Canvas color cabinets throughout the house. In our kitchen, with our lighting, it comes across as warm white, which is what I was going for. Note: We had tons of problems with Kraftmaid shipping and lots of damaged merchandise that had to be reordered (and we are still dealing with this since last March!). I hope your experience will be be much better than ours. Good Luck!

I actually used it on some built-ins near our cabinets. I am very happy with the color match! The price (and availability) on the paint though? Not so much! The ultradeep base urethane in semi-gloss was $92/gallon with a contractor discount... If using on a wall, I would probably skip the urethane base trim enamel to save a pile of money.

Laurie, Here is a picture of the bathroom with translucent driftwood and Taj. I can't find one right now of the island and we're actually not home. If you want one of the island, I'm more than happy to do that when we get back in a couple of days. Are you looking at Kraftmaid cabinets? I will tell you, we've had ALL kinds of issues! If I were to do this again, which we never will, I would NOT get KM! Especially from the box store we went through. UGH The finished project looks nice, but ........................................ Also, this piece of Taj in the bath is a different slab than the kitchen. It doesn't have as much gray as the kitchen. The kitchen is a nice blend of cool AND warm colors. Bobbi
