What is cheapest 48' built in refrigerator?
Comments (6)In my experience, they are all pretty expensive! We are looking for a built-in / panel-ready counter depth (sorry if I don't know all my terms correctly) 48" side by side (I prefer these to French door). We got quoted approx $8300 for the sub-zero, $6700 for the Kitchen-aid. GE monogram I think was up around the $8000s. I was told Liebherr only does the columns now, and I couldn't see them in person. I called for prices at Sears and the ones they offered (Jenn-air maybe) were in the same ballpark ($6500-$8000+ range). I liked the fact that I could see the Sub-zero in person and can get it serviced by the same dealer I buy it from and I feel like there are more reviews on them in general to be found (some negative, but lots of glowing reviews also). So we will most likely be going with the Sub-zero. Having produce last a long time is my biggest "want" in a frig, so hopefully the Sub will live up to expectations....See More48" built in Refrigerator/Freezer suggestions please
Comments (1)I'm not aware of a 48" bottom freezer. The SubZero Pro has an amoire styling, but it's side by side no ice or water through the door. I'd look at SubZero, Thermador (I have the columns) or KitchenAid....See MoreMix KitchenAid 48 inch built-in refrigerator with Miele appliances?
Comments (6)We have a 2002 KA 48" fridge/freezer and I will be happy to see it go with our kitchen remodel/gut next month. 48" might seem big, but it is still a side-by-side and I find both sides a bit too narrow. It has mostly worked well. In the 8 years we have owned it we have had 3 service calls due to the fridge side not being cold enough. The tech never seems to find anything wrong! We are going with Subzero this time, a 36" all fridge and 24" all freezer. No need to match appliance brands. Our current kitchen has KA, DCS, Thermador and Miele. Get the appliance that best meets your needs and budget....See MoreGE Cafe Built in 48 inch refrigerator
Comments (5)GE Profile is now making wall ovens with side swing doors, also easier for shorter folks and I'm also intrigued by the GE Profile Twin Flex Convection 30 inch wall oven. It's two ovens in the space of one wall oven. Thus, the doors are shorter and easier to access for shorter individuals. It's a space saver too. Could have an Advantium or Steam Oven above it....See MoreUser
