This series is rather new. If it is the case that the original seedlings haven't been around for decades then nobody has seen examples with enough time behind them to be considered anything like mature.

where are you ... it will grow larger and faster in a more temperate zone.. than it would in a colder zone.. if for no other reason ... because of the longer growing season ...

find the latin name.. including cultivar name.. and take it the the images page of a search engine.. and just look at the various pix ... and you should be able to see your future ... with the caveat that most shrubs and trees dont magically stop growing at some given height ... so.. sooner or later... in tree time ... shrub time.. they all get bigger than claims made ....

I have had Autumn Amethyst and Autumn Sangria for around 6-7 years. Mine are about 4' high with 5' spread, but I do cut back the occasional longest branches. Mine are in part sun.

There's a convention of giving 10 year heights for rhododendrons and azaleas in commercial literature. So with the addition of Dave's post it does seem like

is them doing just that. With 20 year old plants being all that much bigger, and so on.

Thank you, guys. I like their all season interest. I haven't decided yet whether to get those cultivars or not, but if and when I get some of them (and I think I eventually will, lol) hopefully I can keep it relatively compact (Dave. thank you for sharing your experience... especially helpful since you are in the same hardiness zone. Does yours bloom repeatedly as advertised?)
