Any idea what is wrong with this Azalea?

We had a real bad hot spell a few weeks ago. All the plants suffered. But this Olga Mezitt Azalea really took the brunt of it. There is still green when I scrap the stems but the leaves all look burnt. We have been having trouble with fireblight in the northeast. It's really bad and affecting several trees and shrubs in my garden. Could this plant be affected too or do you think it's something else? Would the fact that it is green under the stems mean that the plant will recover next spring? As you can see, the other Rhododendrons around it aren't affected at all. Thanks for any info.
