Builder selected inexpensive pencil tile trim....green color showing

I gave the liberty to my builder to select a pencil tile to trim out around accent pieces in the kitchen. The selection was inexpensive by my standards. It appears to be painted a mint green and then a bronze color overcoat. A bit of hammered look....and I guess the green was to imitate patina. Some pieces were scratched to the point the green is showing through. It was recommended to me that I use a hammered spray paint and apply touch-ups. I do not think that this is acceptable. Any thoughts on what fix I could attempt other than rip it all out?
