We are nearly 3/4 of the way through our home renovation. We have new oak floors throughout that will be stained jocobean. (medium brown with gray undertone). Our walls are SW Anew Gray with white trim. Our counters are Tipperary; our millwork is white with the island SW Elephant Ear. All the plumbing fixtures and millwork hardware are brushed nickel (or stainless) and minimalist style. My favorite color is blue so we have Thunderstorm penny tile (blues, greens, grays) at the backsplash and fireplace surround. We are working with a traditional house with crown mounding, but my taste is more clean minimalist. What lighting style would work best with the new updated materials, the existing (traditional) home and my minimalist taste? What finish should I use throughout - bronze, black or brushed nickel? I will be purchasing a large pendant for a 2 story foyer, a formal dining pendant, a kitchen dining pendant, island pendants, stairway wall sconce, master bath pendant, living room fan with light, TV room fan with light and master bed fan with light.
