From someone who wanted something similar, i will give you a straightforward "no". One, you need tall ceilings, and two, I think it does not really belong in a bedroom unless it was part of a larger theme. Do you need to have a light? What is your budget? If you are not trying to obscure it, and you want vintage, get traditional Hunter or Casablanca, maybe with nickel housing? Either wood blades (vintage) or white ("disappearing"). Love the style! Looks so wonderful! I would recommend getting another ottoman/end of bed chest thing. You could do some leather cubes, a bench, a leather bench, a mini couch. I think that will add a lot to your room. Also weird thing, but try moving your bed like 6-8 inches away from the wall. This will help close the space between your bed and the dresser. The dresser is so well decorated! How the mirror works well with the stuff on top of it. Also just for fun, you could try new drapes that are a tad bit darker, that way they frame your room out a bit. If it doesn’t help then go back to your old ones, I’m just wondering if it would help. Because the floors are so light, you have to add a little bit of darker stuff to help balance it out. I do think the TV area looks so wonderful! I love it! I think you balanced it out wonderfully. Also the sitting area with the chair seems a little bit out of place. I’m not sure where you should put it, but from the angles of the photos that the vibe Im getting. You can try adding a rug. It will help the emphasis be more on your bed (which it already is but more) That will help ground everything a lot. Most people generally want the focus to be on their bed, and you did a great job of that! But you have enough interesting stuff around it to make the room feel complete. You have wonderful taste! No matter what you choose you can’t go wrong!

Please delete one of these posts . Are you keeping your bed? Do you have a walkin closet? You need lamps on the night tables for sure the ones on the headboard are not attractive at all.. The rug you show is pretty useless for a bedroom rug so either get a bigger one or just smaller ones on either side of the bed. The drapes were nicer than that roll down blind. The 3 pics seem to be taken at different times with different night tables , different pillows so maybe we need pics of the space as it is now.
