My sofa is here! I need help with accent chairs/pillows please!
Comments (28)I like the blue in the room better than the browns in the last edition of pictures. The blue cleans it up a bit more. Both chairs are pretty colors. Could you add some navy in addition to the more muted colors that you like. Or maybe a very light soft blue/turquoise grey. The TV images are adding color to the room that may be distracting my evaluation, lol....See MoreNeed help with living room design- ACCENT CHAIRS
Comments (6)A natural colored performance fabric chair. You don't want a sea of dark leather. The space is tight so you will have to be very mindful of scale and size. I would not choose something with a bulky arm as it is going to take up visual space and make the room feel cramped. Is the TV console on the left staying where it is? What does the other side of your room look like? I would like to see if there is any opportunity for a better layout....See MoreI need help picking accent chairs for a dark turquoise blue sectional

Comments (12)Have an overall plan in advance for a cohesive and unified space. Discover your style first by putting different styles in the top HOUZZ search box (one at a time). Examples are traditional, transitional, casual. Note what you like and don't like. I would not get anything gray - that color doesn't lend itself to a warm cozy vibe. Warm ivory or off white are classic colors that never goes out of style and goes with most items. Here are warm colors: ivory, olive green, golden yellow, orange, brown. Cool colors: bright white, ice pastels, gray, royal blue, purple, emerald green, pine green, forest green, taupe, black, navy. Your mood board is fab - I love the blue and green! Here are some ideas about how to add brightness to your space: If you don't need privacy on your windows, use nothing or sheers. Pay close attention to your lighting. I love a very well lit room. In the iving area, ceiling lights are not the most flattering. If you insist on having ceiling lights in the living area, at least put them on dimmers. Much better is a large table lamp or wall sconce in each corner at chest height. Another way to get light bouncing around in the living area is to put mirrors or glass in strategic areas. Put a mirror on the wall where there is a nice reflection. I went to a glass place and had glass pieces put on all my living room side tables. Also (if this goes with your decor), see where else you can incorporate mirrored or glass surfaces - lamp bases, picture frames, etc. Don't overdo that, however, or you will end up with a Hollywood glam look!...See MoreRelated Professionals
