I am planning on contacting them tomorrow. Here is my question, do you think this light from Rejuvenation is close enough to the top picture in your last post? The one from Rejuvenation is a little cheaper and I've seen it in person in satin nickel, but I'm not as crazy about the extra "balls" and "bulbs" on the rods. The one from TOCL seems simpler to me and might be worth the extra couple of hundred of dollars. Or would no one notice the difference? I swear I'm not normally this picky and usually can find lots of things I like, but for some reason now I feel like this stupid light has to be just perfect since I've already returned one. I should just had my electrician do two electrical boxes, but now the one is centered in the ceiling and he would have to cut two new holes and patch the old one. BKO was a typo I made in a thread that seems to have caught on. I meant to say TBO (totally bathroom obsessed) but there was a two year old pulling on me, and I hadn't slept, and BKO came out instead. For some reason freaks who are TKO seem to understand that BKO (which makes no sense) means Bath LOL I have mixed finishes in all of my rooms (because I'm BKO AND TKO LOL) In my master bath I have antique gold knobs and gold tone lighting (antique stuff from the 1920's that I restored). The lighting also has browns involved in the design and the faucets are all ORB. The towel bars, hooks etc are all ORB as well. All of the finishes are what I would call "warm" in nature and the colors flow. Chrome would look terrible in that room. In the kitchen I have a SS countertop, fridge, DW and TC. My sinks are SS and the faucets (bar, main and pot filler) are all chrome. My lighting is a mix of antique pieces which have both aluminum (or antique pewter color) and a soft gold highlight on them with amber shades. My stove has both silver and gold on the handles (Lacanche) and my knobs are antique pewter. My other counters are granite with amber running through it prominently and the backsplash is amber as well as the glass in the cabinets. So in that room, I am mixing both gold and silver (warm and cool) tones. In the family bath I have a mix of chrome and brushed nickle. The faucets are chrome, as is the toilet handle and then the other pieces are brushed as are the knobs. The powder room has gold or brass fixtures and knobs. I hate having everything exactly the same except for the most modern of rooms (where that uniformity becomes important in taking individual elements out of the design). So the answer is....LOL you can probably do anything. :oP Does that help???

Hey melrogirl, It depends, I think, if you want the new pendant lights to be the focal point of the kitchen or not. If you do want these new lights to be the focal point, then have them not be brushed nickel but the Tiffany style or the red colour. If you want some other part of the kitchen to be the focal point, keep with the brushed nickle style. In our kitchen we want the flooring (dark hardwood) and the counter top (quartz) to be the focal point, so we have light cabinets and all hardward (faucets, cabinet handles, etc.) and non-recessed lighting (i.e. pendants) are of the brushed nickel (actually, come to think of it our kitchen sounds a little like yours, except we have no red). And, the cabinet handles are thin so they blend in and do not draw visual attention away from the countertop and flooring. Heck, even the kitchen sink matches the off-white cabinets to it does not attract attention (reminds me of a kitchen sink joke :-) ) The eye will gravitate to contrasts. Its a question of what you want the eye to gravitate to. Good points! I looked at Memoirs Stately too, but it has the same trim detail and it's a couple hundred more that I could spend elsewhere in the room. To me the more modern one is either a hand (unappealing) or tree branches (appealing). It's probably a long shot. I scoped Etsy but think these might be too big (squares) and I'm not 100% about the spirals.
