Absolutely, you can. Inside the box behind the panel is another small enclosure. You will find 3 wires (black white & green) You can purchase a plug from an irrigation dist. called a pig-tail, or get a grounded extension cord from HD, and cut the plug end off and split the wires to make the connection. Use common sense!! If your not sure, go to the Dist and get the pig tail. The person should be able to show you how to do it.

According to the link I provided, if you click on the ACCESSORIES tab at the middle of the page, it shows the hose and regulator at $29, and also gives a catalog number for these items, as well as ordering info. IT does say IN STOCK, so there would be no need to call, unless you don't have a20 pound propane tank. These are available at most major hardware stores and also BJs and Costco. Simply find a place where you bring the tanks to an they fill them. I bought a weed burner last summer from Northern and its a good thing that I checked, as I also needed a propane tank cart and a special accessory valve that allows the flame to burn at a low rate (acts like a pilot light), then when I squeeze a tab valve it goes into high pressure mode until I release the tab and then reverts back to the low flame. Much better than starting with a sparker every time I need the high flame.

I agree with jon1270. We have CFL in our unheated garage/workshop. We live in central PA. During cold weather, when we first turn it on, it is very, very dim and takes a while (guessing 5 minutes?) to get bright. Once it's bright/warm though, it's fine. In warm weather, it's fine mostly but does seem slightly dim at first but definitely much brighter within a very short time (1 minute or less?). For exterior lights - like on porches when you need the light right away - I wouldn't recommend them.

Yes, one reason that you might have to pry my linear fluorescent luminaires and lamps from my cold, dead hands. Seriously, I just recently came to the conclusion that I may be a too critical of the short range of color temps for LED and (residential) CFL since there is only one for incandescent. Sure, the range pales in comparison to linear tubes, but they do go where linear tubes do not go. I will probably continue to complain about the crappy residential color range, CRI, and quality compared to the commercial stuff.
