Comments (4)I really like the fairview too, but on my monitor, it looks like the 2nd floor porch is done in a lighter colour. I would do it the same as the rest of the body, otherwise it is going to be emphasized and I think you want it to blend rather than stick out. Comments (6)I don't think painting the bottom a different color is a good idea. Two me it looks like a layer cake. The current color looks like pale gray or beige. I would give it white to stand out better. I made these images on the SW site so they are sloppy. I did not change the door color, it just looks black, I like the current color. I don't like the previous owner's landscape and hard scape designs. One thing you could change is removing the gravel. It looks like you live in a hot area and the gravel is giving a harsh, barren impression. Mulch would be better and in time most of the beds will be filled with plants. I found a picture of decent landscaping on a ranch house. What is your growing zone? Which direction does the house face? If it faces west or south you might consider a shade tree....See MoreGladys
