Maryl, I like large flowers, and the color. The form seems a bit odd, but this is the first bloom, and that shrub badly needs to be trimmed. I will certainly give it a year or 2, maybe my memory will eventually jog.

Nancy have you ever bought from Harmon Hill daylilies? they have one that looks very similar . Look at the site under the V's there is one near the bottom of the page called VT Rose on Pink . It is hybridized by Darrow but is a non Registered daylily

One question , is the bloom always that shape?

Another possibility is Flying Carpet registered at 32" but flower is only registered at 5.5 inches

Throw it my way if you trow it away. I really like the bicolor and the graduation of the yellow on the petals. Sorry, I don't know what it is.

Signet, I did have Flying Carpet at one time, it disappeared on me before I saw it bloom. Been about the time I rescued this "Gordon Biggs", and now that i think of it, it was in the same area as GB, will compare it closer. I do remember someone sent me one BY, but I don't think that is the one, never saw that one bloom either. I will check stats closer, but I bet you nailed It!

Well I looked up Flying Carpet, I don't think the form is right. This bloom is the first I have seen though, maybe the next one will be different.

Kay, I like the coloring of it, but if I toss, I will send it to you. Or when it multiplies. It does look rather off in form though, the flower is large, rather starkly like a cross in person.
