Help me choose soap dispenser (pics).
Comments (1)Just for looks, I like the Moen and the Elkay. Have you seen them in person? I take it by curved top you mean the Moen is slightly dome shaped. That wouldn't bother me (it's so slight), and it would mean that water would run off the top rather than puddle. It looks a little chunkier and possibly more in scale with your faucet, but that may be the scale of the photos. On the otherhand, the Elkay looks like it would be a trimmer fit next to the chunky handle on your faucet. I'd measure the height and clearance as well as the spout length on those two. The Hansgrohe looks like the spout might be too short and doesn't seem to fit your style as well (short, angled end spout). The Waterstone adds different details that I think detract -- I'd rather be a little simpler than a little too much on the dispenser. I really like what you've done with your kitchen. I wanted to want a backsplash more like yours, but it didn't seem to fit our kitchen. I might do something like that in my laundry room. Maybe a little overkill, but I have have a little more freedom there than in a very open kitchen. Have fun....See MoreFaucet + hot water dispenser + soap dispenser
Comments (9)One thought on your decision is if the Blanco has a colander etc which you place on the right side of the sink, then perhaps reverse the soap dispenser to the left side. But yes, they drilled my holes all in a row, separated by chosen distances. If the hole size for the hot water dispenser and the soap dispenser are the same, you can always change them out. Don't let the plumbers use plumbers putty on installation of the sink flange or drain. Blanco recommends clear silicone for its Silgranit. Counter tops which etch shouldn't have plumbers putty either as it may etch from it I understand. Sorry, no pictures yet. Excited for you: countertops let you know you're half way there....See MoreHelp w/soap dispenser & fireclay sink
Comments (3)No idea if you like this or if it would work for your needs (or if your heart is set on the soap dispenser you got), but I thought this wall mounted dispenser is a neat look....See More1 or 2 soap dispensers in kitchen?
Comments (8)I had a soap dispenser in my old house for 13+ years and now have one in my new house for about a year. I use dish soap in it, watered down so it doesn't clog up. Love it! I use a soap pump for my hand soap. I was going to use a Never-Mt soap dispenser kit in the new house to keep more dish soap "loaded", but the way the installers put in the soap pump, I could not remove the bottle under the counter. So I just refill it from the top every few months. Not a big deal....See Morekazmom
