Comments (5)Ha! I was wondering if it was a sign for more sun... but the etiolation only started AFTER I moved it outside which is what threw me off because outside it is getting way more sun than it did when it was in my window sill.... now that i am thinking about it, repotting to this combo pot happened around the same time that I moved it outside. Anyways, i am just curious, why do they need more sun in community pot?...See MoreEcheveria advice
Comments (14)I think that is good mix. Succulents live in lean soils in nature, so whatever coir you put in is likely enough. Color could be improving if plant is getting more light than before, but still may not be enough for it to grow compact. I see bit of a 'situation' with taking plants outside on occasion - they will be growing in certain light and then for some (likely shorter?) period of time will be put outside: if it happens to be more sunny location, they may need to be acclimatized. I can't see that happening every now & then - but you know what light is available, and judge accordingly. I am just thinking of practical side...I keep all succulents outdoors even if it rains. But would cover them with a plastic sheet if it was raining few days in a row, or if we had a big storm. They are all in a mix of grit+perlite+turface (less than other 2) and in pots with lots of drainage holes....See MoreEcheveria decora - long-legged beauty

Comments (15)Sorry Ryan didn't notice you'd included number 6 in your comment at the top (even though I'd checked to see if anyone had mentioned it). I would have worded it differently. Plus I keep posting this and it won't work coz my Internet reception is in and out at the moment. So I hope this works.... no it didn't, but I've copied it and keep trying. Been trying to answer, comment, say thanks to things said etc. Anyway just after midnight, so might be better at night. Here goes...... Nope. 2am down the street?...See MoreHelen Agius (Adelaide,Sth Aus) USDA Z10b
