Lime green is a little intense for a toddler- too stimulating. The bedding is adorable, so pulling colors from that should be easy. What about doing a light grey on most of the walls but a dark orange behind the bed for an accent and a pop of color? You could do light blue for all the walls, but light blue is a little too stereotypical baby boy for my taste.

It is sometimes easier with childrens' bedrooms to keep a neutral color throughout which works well with an array of quilt covers and curtains, etc. If you keep the walls simple you can just change the accessories as the child grows to keep up with their constantly changing choices without having to repaint. Pale colors are usually the best choice to keep it bright and welcoming.

The previous owners had just painted it for their kid's room before selling and my daughter was trying to talk herself into keeping it but has convinced her hubby to paint. I also thought that a light grey would be nice and I agree that the light blue is a little stereotypical for a boy's room. The orange may also be a bit intense for a little one. He's not quite 2 yet. I vote for light grey, you'll be able to easily change things out as his interests change.

Yes I was looking at SW Bunny Gray or Seattle Gray. And Nikki, I love those decals. they would be perfect to match the comforter set. So excited to help her out. Working mom, going back to school to become a PA and moving into a new house next week!
