is it ok to have my office painted in a soft coral pink?
Comments (4)I agree with you! The only thing is, since I’m the office coordinator, my office is in an open/main area. I want to be sensitive to how the room will look and feel and am, therefore, wondering if I should go with more of a neutral? Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I’m so torn! Thank you in advance!!...See MorePlease help me with my pink houzz
Comments (2)I see that you really like the "farmhouse look" I would consider not putting 2 lights above the doors but one in the large area above instead. and if possible one to light up the walkway, between the two window. I would also consider making the path more defined i love your garden but as a guest I really wouldnt know where to go.......... here is a rendering. Also I know your garage doors are in the front but with the look of your house i dont think black or dark wood doors go. I would go for a more detailed white door. I would add some more decorative windows to the front, and you can do a single shutter, however it would need to be functional and scaled right to actually look good....See Morewhat exterior paint colors would make pink brick seem less pink? Comments (7)As noted earlier, the green just draws more attention. I would: 1) Remove the shutters from the double windows. 2) Paint all the trim and garage doors a nice medium taupe. Don't paint the garage doors a different color as it draws more attention to them. 3) Paint the shutters, maybe a darker tone of the trim. 4) Paint the front door. A black door with taupe trim/shutters would be very striking. If you're interested in seeing some virtual makeovers of your home, check out my website, Creative Visual Concepts. Comments (9)IMO a daybed is not a good choice for an actual bed. I am tall and hate foot boards for that reason. As for the pink IMO never do a color for a permanent piece in a kids bedroom since the favorite color changes yearly . get a nice neutral headboard on a regular bed get a trundle if you need the extra sleeping space and then get pink bedding that can be changed next year . Why not get a forever bed and save the money for the changes that are coming....See MoreRelated Professionals
