SPC Vinyl Flooring Brands Comparisons
Comments (86)I’ve looked at so many floors I’m burned out. I should’ve done a spreadsheet like the author of this post. I originally wanted Flooret’s Modin line but I’m just not liking the 9” planks.. right now Provenza Moda is my front runner because of the 7” wide plank texture and long boards (I do NOT want 48” planks). Does anyone know of a brand that I should be considering?? I want SPC, do NOT want a pronounced pained bevel (but do like a thin bevel). Prefer some texture, want low color variation in light-medium brown. (Did not care for SuperCore or Paradigm samples)...See MoreAnyone with Sonos help me figure out the main area? Thanks.
Comments (8)We use Sonos in our current home, and will use it in our new build. The flexibility (moving speakers around) is much easier with a wireless system. We are not audiophiles, so a sound snob might claim the system is not as good, but we're happy with it. In our open floor family room, we have a sound bar and the sub at the front, and a Five in each of the two back corners, both mounted higher up with the plug cords fished thru the wall for a more finished look. This works for our "home theater" setup. There are also plenty of 3rd party Sonos speaker stands on the market. We probably have about 8 or 9 Sonos Ones throughout the rest of the house; bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, office, etc. Our kitchen is open to the family room and yes, I can be listening to my own music on the Sonos in the kitchen while someone else is listening to the tv in the family room. A feature we love is the ability to group different speakers. If I'm walking back and forth between bedroom and laundry room, I can sync them so I can hear the music in both rooms. When I'm home alone, I use "party mode" so that every Sonos in the house is playing my Audible book in sync while I move around the house to do chores. We run the system through the Sonos app, available on all of our phones, tablets and computers. It's very simple to use. We also have Brilliant light switches, so can control Sonos through that as well. I'm not the techie (husband set it up) but I believe in our 3 story, 4000 sq ft house we only have one Sonos bridge. We do use a wife booster in our house, but with 4 teenagers, that was needed even without the Sonos, If you've got more questions, let me know. My husband may be able to better answer than me. But we've been happy Sonos customers for almost 10 years now....See MoreInhaus (or SFI) Landmark brand?
Comments (0)Can anyone give me some feedback on this German line of laminate flooring? The store where I got the sample gave me a website to review specs and it says the product is made by SFI. The label on the sample says the brand is Inhaus, so I'm confused about that. Mainly I want to know if anyone has experience with this product. Thank you...See MoreInhaus Sono Eclipse in Sheridan Bay?
