that's a lot of text. you have nickel and stainless so far, so I'd stick with that. pick one of the fixtures first and try working around that -- whether that's the chandelier or the pendants, say, is up to you.

IMO you best figure out if the pulls you want come in different sizes and I think those black ones look very heavy on white cabinets. I like pulls to be in proprtion to the cabinet or drwaer size and lots do not come in enough sizes. As for different ones in different rooms that is not a problem.I do however not like mixing too many finishes in a kitchen so if you want the trendy champagne pulls then go the same for faucet or if you have a stainless sink go satinless

For counters, I'd look at Soapstone which is one of my favourites. The patina and finish would pull together well with your reclaimed wood. Another look that many like are the concrete look solid surface counters. Depending on the cabinet colours you choose it might not work. Caesarstone has some really gorgeous choices, as do the other quartz companies. I think Virgil Carter has a point, try to put together all your ideas and make a sample board with it. See what you think and ask friends for their opinions (not too many friends with too many opinions) or come back to Houzz and you'll get lots of feedback I'm sure. I think the gorgeous island is a great start and I think next will be settling on a colour for your cabinets. I assume your hardware will be black like the hardware in your picture of the island. Then maybe your light fixtures have black as well. You could even choose oil rubbed bronze for your faucet.

We are in the end stages of our major remodel, and need to pick out the last few paint colors, for living room and dining room. They are both visible from the kitchen, which had mascarpone cabinets and light pewter walls. Floors are red oak throughout. I’d love a color for the living room that is perhaps darker or warmer, but still relatively neutral. Walls right now are some sort of dark khaki, which has worked well. Any suggestions? Shots of kitchen and the spaces still to paint.
