Help please! Restoring an Orchid from the Clearance Section

Hello everyone! I purchased an Orchid on clearance and thought I could restore it. I noticed the flowers were dropping and read online to cut the flower stem. So that’s what I did. I also replanted the orchid in loose bark and have been watering it when I notice the bark on the upper levels of the small pot are dry. I cut off the dying, brown/mushy leaves as well. But I still have some questions...

1.) Do I cut off these yellowing, wilted leaves? If so, how?

2.) What about these yellow roots? Should I cut them? Or should I leave them? They’re turning brown on the tips, and I am unsure as to what I’m doing wrong.

3.) By glancing at the leaves and roofs, am I over watering? Or under watering?
