What kind of curtains do I need?? Master bedroom with French doors
Comments (0)We have lived in this house for about 2 years and I have struggled from day one with what to do about these windows. We live on about 50 acres so privacy isn’t a concern but I just like the ways curtains look. Should I use 2 panels on the windows? 4 panels? Leave the French doors uncovered? Roman shades? Have one super wide curtain rod to go all the way across? I’m spinning in circles! We tend to lean toward the farmhouse look. I need y’all’s amazing ideas!...See MoreUpdating master bedroom. Comments (7)Think about your favourite style and search Pinterest. You’ll see all the components that bring a room together, which will help you decorate. You can also drill down further and search by color, bedding, window treatments, rugs, bedside lamps, etc For example, I searched specifically for a modern dark headboard. Area rug would be a nice addition and then base rest of room around it. Bedding is next and paint last. Nice window treatment with longer black rod...See MoreNeed ideas for this master bedroom "hallway"
Comments (4)First I would look at a redesign that does not include a clset accessed through the bathroom . What I see here is ahuge waste of space for no real purpose . I can’t imgaine cleaning that bathroomand toilet rooms are one of those things I hate . No one should be using the toilet when someone else is in the bathroom so unless you want to do what they do in Europe with a completely separate spce out side the bathroom forget the toilet room....See MoreUnique Master Bedroom Layout (furniture arrangement ideas needed)
Comments (3)oh, ok. perfect. if there is room there, it would work. you'll have plenty of room for a rug, and a nice bench at the foot of the bed. maybe a few chairs, potted plants over by the window. The tall wall is also a perfect spot for some type of accenting this would be cute in the inset area: I'd do something like this. the blacks/whites/charcoal/leather tones, walnut, would all look nice w/the flooring. love the rug/bench too Inside the large niche, think about doing a built in piece with shelving,, or find a console to span that length. All sorts of ideas for the inset! If you did a built in dresser there, you wouldn't need another piece. tv goes on a swivel mount I'd really make a point of doing somethign special w/the inset spot. you could find a vintage credenza and use that, if there is room on the side, do some cubbies or something like this...See MoreTiffany Keane
