Confused About a Tile Trim Option I have Never Seen Before

I am hoping someone else has experience with this. I fell in love with Daltile's Articulo for my shower. However, in calculating what I need, I realized for trim they have a 1/2X12'' Jolly as opposed to Bullnose. Now, it is a jolly, not a liner so I imagine the functionality is different. My issue is that I have niches and a corner bench, and I do not want to sit on something that sticks out like a liner, but I also don't want to do half schulter jolly, etc...Same goes for the curb---is it going to look like a liner sticking up, or does this function as a flat finished piece. I have attached the link to the spec sheet incase someone is better at this than I am.

Also, do you think that the 6x18 ceramic wall tile will be fine for the shower application (I am not opposed to ceramic)? I liked the idea of using the 1X3s on the shower floor instead of square square everywhere, like I see now aday. And the wave tile is perfect for a feature wall in a shower...

So my main concern is how will this tile jolly work with all these curves.
