Silestone Desert Silver

Can anyone speak to how sourcing quartz for Silestone works? I picked out Desert Silver but by the time my fabricator placed the order, Consentino in Chicago indicated basically that it was backordered with no ETA. Is this common? Is there another way of sourcing the quartz or do I need to find something else? Thanks.

Hey I just ordered the same thing from homedepot...I could have it all in by the end of this month...but I had to sched a later date for them to come measure so we could remove old cabinets and install new ones and waiting for our sink to arrive as well...homedepot has it for 10% off right now and if you purchase cabinets with counter you get a free sink..not sure what sinks but silestone is a brand in the sale. I just wish I could find more examples of desert silver used in kitchens.

Anyone have Silestone Royal Reef or Desert Silver quartz counter tops?

This is the only post I could find regarding Royal Reef Quartz. Do you think Royal Reef would go nicely with white cabinets (black hardware) and white subway tile. Our island is a color called Hale Navy. We have Maple light colored flooring. Most of our accents (stools, pendants) are a matte black and stainless. I’m worried the Royal will look too beige. The woman helping us with the quartz said the RR wouldn’t look beige that it would take on the color of the navy and white. I’m not convinced .... any advice? BTW your kitchen is beautiful! Thank you

I like Pearl Jasmine with the floor, I don't think it's too busy. There are some other options if you like more clean look. Caesarstone Frosty Carrina has a beautiful soft ivory base and delicate white powdery veins. The whole look is very delicate and discreet and goes great when you have more busy surfaces to combine. There are also other Caesarstone colors that you can check out here.

A few years ago, I had my bathroom / laundry room renovated. I chose a white quartz remnant, called Thassos Pental Quartz, from a stone yard. I am very hapy with my choice. It cleans up with dish soap and water, no staining, no chipping. It looks as good today as the day it was installed! Best of luck in you counter choice.
