I would love to take out the wall and create a more "open" floor plan, but alas that is both outside my skill level, and way beyond my budget, so the wall has to stay. I can get to the drawers inside the fridge just fine, I am just not able to fully remove the larger bins in there so we'll have to be careful about spilling. I think we're just going to end up being stuck with this as it is for a while. I may just finish the baseboard up to the fridge as was suggested and hope we never have to take the fridge back out of there; as for the cabinet next to it I'm thinking I'll just get one of those preformed white rubber seals you can buy to cover the old seals in the corners of your tub and shower, and put it between the counter and the fridge so it won't look so ghetto. And in the meantime I have about a billion other jobs to do now to try and fix everything we busted... just by me being stupid. The guilt on this one will last a while.

Maybe you can do an edge on a flower pot. Canister top. Do you have a tile saw so you can cut it neatly into squares. I am assuming you mean just the border tiles? If you did a straight sided canister you could to the top edge in the border tile. Looks like you only have about 20 inches unless you have some left over tucked away some where. I can see the rest filled in with nipped dishes in yellows and the colors you have in that border.Just need to be sure they are all the same thickness. I also like the straight edging then random cuts as fill in.

I have bought a few from homedecorators.com and been very happy. Unfortunately, you just missed the ~70%-off clearance sale (I just got an 8x10, a 2x3, and a 2.5x8 for $272, woohoo!) but they've had many good values in general, especially over on the outlet side. There are also usually coupons on the web, google "homedecorators.com coupon" or "homedecoratorsoutlet.com coupon". I've also heard good things about the rugs at overstock.com, too. I haven't purchased from them because my budget is extremely modest, but peerlessrugs.com is supposed to be a very reputable seller as well. I spend a goodly amount of time drooling in the clearance department - there are some real beauts in there, including big names like Karastan. :-) I will not buy from most eBay rug sellers because I think they behave unethically in circumventing the eBay fee structure with very cheap selling prices and outrageous shipping charges. Why eBay permits this I have no idea.
