The changes can't be specified until you know what is in the switch box. If you are lucky, there is an incoming cable with hot and neutral, and three outgoing cables, each with a hot and neutral. In this case all you have to do is identify the black wire associated with the interior entry light and splice it to the black wire going to the other interior lights. If all of these fixtures are on the same breaker, then there is no need to move any neutral wires. (Neutrals are white, but not all whites are neutral.) If you are not lucky, there may be only two outgoing cables, and the one you are interested in is routed to both the interior entry light and the outside light. That would mean your desired change would require pulling a new cable in the wall. It is also possible that these are on switch loops, meaning the hot goes through the fixtures so there would be only two cables in the switch box. In this case there may be a black and a white on each switch. Such a white should by present good practice be marked black, but older wiring or people who haven't caught up with the practice might not mark them. There are other possible combinations as well. Take a look and then finish planning.

Thanks lanugget! I looked up Benjamin Moore Lancaster Whitewash on BM virtual fan deck and it said "no matches found" I guess I have to make a trip! I do love the color of your cabinets and trim..on my monitor it looks 'white' but soft..no tans or yellow under tones..?? I really think the clear glass tile would work great..I also think getting the SS back splash on your cook top is also a great idea..love it with the shelf. my own feeling is that either one of them would work very well. I also love your cabinets. They were custom made?? How were they painted, was it sprayed? who did you get to do it? I have been going back and forth with having my cabinets painted..this started over a year ago.. I posted on the decorating forum (love it there) and everyone told me not to do it (they are cherry) so I chickened out. They are pretty cabinets, but I have always felt a vintage style kitchen would work very well in this house..the age calls for it for sure, I really need a plan..lol Thanks again and let us know what you decide with the back splash..can't wait to hear..your kitchen is really beautiful and I am sure you are all smiles when your in it :) ree
