honed vs polished Taj Mahal quartzite
Comments (5)True quartzite does not etch. You should test for yourself to know for sure. Check out karin_mt's threads about testing quartzite. She is a geologist and very helpful in teaching people about countertop materials and their properties....See MoreTaj Mahal Quartzite with brick backsplash
Comments (36)I know people here keep saying that Taj Mahal needs to be the "only star" and you have to use a plain backsplash ... but I think most of those people do not have TM installed in their house! Comments (23)I had/have Taj Mahal in two kitchens and also have it outside as my outdoor kitchen counter and backsplash behind the grill. None of it sealed. The backsplash behind the grill gets grease and soot on it and I just clean it with Lysol kitchen cleaner that is good at removing grease. I am careful with it, but not any more so than I always was with my choices of granite, in the past. Best of luck to you on your decision❣️...See Moreclairefisk
