Comments (26)Bonus today: not only great pictures - but imagined noises, too ... quite a few by Canada geese. Question: are other Canadians, in general, that noisy? (Not to mention, frequently crapping on your lawn?!) Canada geese tend to gather at water courses, frequently at ones that run through inhabited areas, often with parks nearby. (Unfortunately, say quite a few) (???) Canada geese are not so scarce as to be labelled, an endangered species. As Dad, an old farmer, used to comment, as did a number of his friends, when faced with a possibly somewhat questionable claim or story, "No shot?!". That dang altering robot's at it again - I swear that I wrote a four- letter word used by farmers (and others) for "manure"! Comments (15)My clematis, one of the few plants I have managed not to kill. The urn from dad’s ashes is right next to it. It also has a few of my mother’s ashes. My sisters and I put their ashes in the Elbow River near to where we grew up and no one wanted the leftover urn. I took it and now it sits on my front porch year round. I like to think it is what keeps my clematis thriving.🙂 You never know. Picture from last year....See More
