I have also changed the California Poppy image and added Celandine Poppy to the Wood Poppy. I will do some more investigating on the Hen's & Chicks and Papaver commutatum seedling images. I am having trouble finding images of the 2 seedlings in question. Thanks so much for all you help. I was thinking delosperma too, but like I said it's been years since I grew this plant. I may have had some moss rose in this bed at one point, but again - it's been at least 10 years since I've had that around. This bed is one of my hardest - SW location and on the dry side since there are a lot of tree roots around. The odd thing is that I wanted to try delosperma again, but since it's not readily available around here, I never got any. I had made a mental note to put it on my list for ordering next year. I can't say much about the top seedlings, but the bottom one looks like a maple. The red petiole on the leaf makes me think red maple, Acer rubrum. However, I'm not very familiar with the various ornamental maple species that are planted in landscapes, which it could be a seedling of. I'd recommend identifying any tree of seed bearing age around your yard and your neighbors' yards to see what could have dropped seed in the fall.

Thanks caliloo - wow you are good! I'm 99% sure #4 is Fried Green Tomatoes - but I never would have remembered on my own. Guacamole sounds right too. #2 is a bit early, I agree. I'll try and post a pic in a few weeks. I don't mean to second guess you, but are you pretty sure #3 is Francis Williams? I have another FW planted just a few feet away - I certainly didn't mean to plant the same plant so close together. Thanks again for your help.
