My vote is for the circular painting. Seems you have a lot of rectangular shapes going on. As for color...some people prefer monochromatic and the repetition of favorite colors...grey and beige. Nothing wrong with that and it can be calming. I might suggest introducing other elements like white faux fur pillows, a tray for your coffee table, maybe a touch of shimmer with mercury glass. Have you considered hanging other pieces by your artwork? Stacked round mirrors would help fill up the large wall and add a little pizazz repeating the circle shape of the art. I think you should pull your recliner more to the center of the room and also move the palm plant from the corner to where the woven basket is. This is just from my perspective. Good luck.

I agree with other posters about putting some color on the wall with paint. If that is not an option then I would suggest hanging your pictures vertically on the blank wall close to the walls edge by foot of bed. It would brighten and add interest to hang a frameless large oval mirror over the headboard of bed. I would also hang a large canvas print vertically over the dresser. A slightly different presentation of bed linens.Turn down the top of the comforter exposing an aqua (same shade blue/turquoise as your lamps) fitted sheet with top sheet folded back as well. I would stack the sham coverd pillows on top of aqua pillow cased pillows. Lay a nubby white throw across the bottom of your bed.a couple straw stools or narrow bench at the foot of your bed would add texture and function. Just a few ideas you might try. Good luck.

Get rid of everything there. Put the TV lower (at seated eye level) with a long console underneath -- 30-50% wider than your TV. You don't need much on top of the console -- a vase or low lamp at one end, maybe. Then a floor lamp or large plant in the right corner and wide art over your couch, if you put one on that right wall -- again, a substantial percentage of the couch width (50-75%!), so larger than what your sellers had. You might prefer a large couch facing the TV wall, with angled arm chairs on either side, but it depends a bit on the size of your couch and on how many you need to seat. An end table on at least on side, if you do that. Coffee table in front of largest couch.

Lighting is plenty now. It did take high voltage bulbs and multiple sources until we were happy. Chandelier, a floor lamp, two buffet lamps and bar cabinet has lights inside. The floor lamp was the missing piece until we figured that out.
