2018 garden report mid May

Garlics up with the biggest (music) almost knee high. First layer of mulch is down. Two of six varieties also have a top mulch layer of leaves.

Peaches in bloom. All 5 seedlings in flower.

Bud 9 rootstock resprouting after rabbits ate it back to nubbins.

Head lettuce starting to head.

Radishes showing extra leaves.

Copra onion seed sprouting all over its bed. Hopefully Copra sets for next summer. This "discontinued" variety is sure taking a long time to disappear. :-)

10 gal grow bags arrived and the potting soil is waiting for them.

Lotsa coir being hydrated, and compost and composted manure and Milorganite ready to work into new beds.

Tomatoes and peppers ready to transplant next week, once weather moderates.

Also seed for carrots, squashes, cucumbers, and sprouts for sweet potatoes to go in soon.

OK this has been started. Others can chime in anytime.
