Countertop Convection/Conventional Oven

After reading AnnT's great reports on her dual door Oster C/C countertop oven, I went out looking for one. Couldn't find one even at the stores Oster said were exclusive sellers. Since I live in the boonies and don't like things sent, I decided to buy this Hamilton Beach one. Used it this afternoon on a tray of spice cupcakes. I preheated as instructed at 325F instead of the normal 350F and cut the baking time to 10 minutes instead of the normal 12 to 17 minutes. These were not tiny cupcakes, but they weren't deep ones either. At 10 minutes they were still pretty unbaked. I left them in for about another 3 minutes and they were done. Should I be concerned or not? I have a JennAire stove with a C/C oven but have never used it on convection. I wanted a second oven to step up what I can bake for the farmers markets so I will be keeping it.

On the happier side, I got my smaller freezer yesterday. I have a large upright but wanted a smaller upright as well. I'm definitely a happy camper with it.
