wedding reception decoration ideas please.........
Comments (1)I love what I call a "country elegant" look - tablecloths to the ground, maybe table toppers or runners in one of the wedding colors. The last wedding like that that I coordinated, the bride used Mason canning jars filled with daisies and greenery for centerpieces. She used semi-sheer light purple toppers over white tablecloths. She tied a purple ribbon around the neck of each jar. I have another country wedding coming up. We will use ivory linens to the ground (round tables). For the centerpieces, she is using large flat sunflowers. A votive candle will be set into the center of the sunflowers. They will be surrounded by grape vine. As you can see, there are numerous things that you can do to reflect the location and not look too country casual....See MoreReception Hall Decorating Ideas
Comments (5)Rental center is a really good idea- they not only have columns, fountains and stuff, but they do this all the time, so they probably have a ton of ideas and you don't have to re-invent the wheel. If you don't live near a rental center- go to a website and get ideas. Your florist may have some sources for decoration ideas as well. I don't know if you like balloons, but a balloon arch is a very quick way to make a large, colorful statement. You can also float them as a kind of false ceiling, with silver or gold mylar ribbons on them that catch the light and sparkle. Nothing says "party" like balloons. I recently went to an outdoor wedding where they wanted to keep insects off the wedding cake, so they rigged a tulle "tent" over it- gathered tulle onto a tree banch and let it fall gently all around the cake table. It looked really nice (and also gave the message to stay away from the cake until it was time to cut it.) Good luck and enjoy your wedding day!...See Moreliving room/dining room decor ideas?
Comments (3)Before adding art to the walls you might want to finish getting your furniture. It seems that you especially need tables/lamps. Overhead fixtures are the worst for creating harshness and making everything and everyone look bad. Are you adding chairs? Have you considered a more colorful rug? Once these things have been determined it is time to think of art, You should not just go out and buy stuff for the walls, Take it slowly and wait till you see things that you love or have meaning. The decor can be things other than " pictures". It can be plates, baskets, funky objects, wreaths, etc....See MoreLooking for decorating ideas for small room with off center window.
Comments (5)A nice water feature can do wonders for a bedroom https://aussiesales.com.au/products/led-water-fountain-feature For your wall, it depends what you're into really but if modern farmhouse is your kind of gig then maybe some nature/horse painting? I've sign nice wall tapestries too if you're into that https://epicpine.com/products/nature-astronomy-spirituality-hanging-wall-tapestry-home-decor...See MoreElle
